This might be a bit of a different review but still… I booked a flight to Jalón because I had a deal for a house directly from an owner. Turned out that when I arrived, the seller accepted a higher offer so my trip was useless. Decided to check some other houses, one of which was listed with Chris. I told him about what happened and only was treated with a very understanding view. Chris really made my day, putting my hopes up saying ‘I believe whatever happens, does so for a reason’. Turns out he was right because the next day I found our house with a different agency in a different area but had to inform Chris. Again, a very heartening reply, he was genuinely happy for me even though I did not buy through him. I have been disappointed in many people but this shows what a person Chris is. I have the utmost respect for someone reacting this way and can assure anyone doing business with him you will not be disappointed. In eerste instantie begon de zoektocht naar ons droomhuis in Moraira. Echter bleek al snel dat je daar in een wijk terecht komt waar alles boven op elkaar is gebouwd. Wij zochten niet iets afgelegen maar wel met meer privacy en dus verlegden wij ons zoekgebied naar de prachtige Jalon vallei. In februari 2023 stapten wij binnen bij Premier villas, waar we hartelijk werden ontvangen (in het Nederlands) door Martina. We zijn twee keer een halve dag huizen gaan kijken met makelaar/eigenaar Chris met wie we direct een klik hadden. Hi neemt de tijd, adviseert eerlijk en is openhartig. Helaas zat ons droomhuis er niet bij. In september 2023 hebben we opnieuw afgesproken en een aantal huizen bekeken. Ook een die te koop stond bij een ander kantoor. Dat bleek het juiste huis. Chris checkte of er destijds bouwvergunning was verleend en of er een woonvergunning op zit. Dat bleek het geval. Na een korte onderhandeling was de deal rond en hebben we de koopakte getekend. Alles verliep plezierig en we zijn nooit onder druk gezet. Chris heeft een groot netwerk en adviseerde ons een goede, Nederlands sprekende, advocaat om alle zaken te regelen. Ook daar zijn we zeer tevreden over.
Premier Villas in Jalon bestaat uit Martina, Karen en Chris en de communicatie met alle drie verliep vlekkeloos. Er wordt snel gereageerd en afspaken worden nagekomen. Als aankoopmakelaar zeer aan te bevelen.

We vonden via Idealista een woning en waren op dat moment in de buurt van het Kantoor in Dénia dus besloten even binnen te lopen. Dit was een goede zet. We werden direct heel vriendelijk in het Engels geholpen door Alex. Hij regelde dat we binnen 24uur gebeld werden door een Nederlandstaligen medewerkster. Vanaf daar nam Martina de communicatie volledig in het Nederlands over. Leuke bijzaak, het huis was ook nog eens top! Binnen 2 weken hadden we 2 bezichtigingen gehad onder de prettige begeleiding van Chris. In die zelfde 2 weken was ook het voorlopig koopcontract zelf al klaar en afgehandeld! Wij reden weer met een gerust hart terug naar Nederland in afwachting van de verdere planning voor de sleuteloverdracht. Ook deze heeft ondertussen plaats gevonden en is soepel en heel prettig verlopen!

In juni van dit jaar werden we in Jalon hartelijk ontvangen door het team Martina, Karen en Chris.

My wife and I put our villa sale in the hands of Premier Villas in December 2020, fully expecting the chances of finding a buyer during Covid would be slim. To our amazement Karen called us in February 2021 to say a buyer had be found, the viewing had taken place by way of a video call!! From agreeing a price, to the final completion, the team at Premier, Chris, Karen and Martina, have been excellent. We used our own lawyer and Martina communicated with them throughout the selling process and also arranged the Energy Certificate and renewal of our Habitation Certificate ( something we had no idea was out-of-date!). Completion took place at the end of June, a date agreed with us and the buyer because of Covid restrictions, and everything went without a hitch. We were not spending enough time at our townhouse in Jalon, due to family commitments in the UK, so in October 2019, we decided to place it on the market.
Chris Hara, of Premier Villas, Jalon, had sold the house to us in March 2018, so we called him, and asked him for a valuation. He came to our house in Jalon, and within 20 minutes, we had agreed a price. Within 3 days, the details were all completed, and our house was on the market. Within two weeks, Chris had shown three potential buyers around the house, and he sold it. Amazing service and speed.
The buyers were from the Netherlands, so it took some time for them to obtain their NIE numbers, and we all agreed a completion date of 24th February 2020. During the four months up to completion, the team at Premier Villas, kept things moving, and sent us contracts to sign, informed us of everything we would need to do, for the sale to go through smoothly. They were great at chasing the progress, and keeping us informed. A few days before completion, the buyers wanted to come round to see the house, and check that everything was in order, before completion. Chris and his staff arranged this, and we were there to meet our buyers for the first time, and show them around. Chris also attended, and made sure that everyone was satisfied. On the day of completion, Martina (a key member of staff at Premier Villas) was our representative at the Notary's office. She was exceptional. She translated all necessary documents from Spanish to English and explained them to us, since we don't understand Spanish. The Dutch buyers were with their solicitor, and spoke in Dutch, which Martina translated for us, as necessary. I don't know how many languages Martina can speak, but probably at least five!
Overall the service, communication, and helpfulness from Chris and his staff was second to none. They were all exceptional, and went the extra mile. The whole experience for us was fantastic. We can highly recommend Chris Hara, and his team at Premier Villas.

Well, we finally sold our villa! After three years of trying to save a few quid advertising on-line and with other agents who say they can do you a "deal" with no results we went to Premier Villas.

Chris and his team at Premier villas provided excellent service for us, we had been searching for our villa for a while and had been with various different agents but never found the villa we were looking for. We set out our criteria for what we wanted, but most agents don’t really listen that well so we were shown some completely unsuitable properties.

It says something that when the time had come to end our 12 year love affair with our dream holiday home in the sun with its stunning views over Parcent there was only one place to turn. Premier Villas had sold us the property in 2006 and we continued that association over the years using a variety of the services it then offered including holiday rental, villa management and their ‘key in the door’ concierge service. We paid for those services of course but we got a whole lot more. Premier’s brilliant staff helped us through a number of hiccups over the years going way beyond what might be expected and paid for. What’s more they did it with a smile.
Ever since we first walked through their door with a tentative enquiry to establish what we might be able to afford we have been struck by their efficiency. The company now concentrates on its core property sales business, and whether buying or selling never will you need a friendly helping hand more. Stepping into the unknown buying or selling a property in a foreign language and system is a big decision and can be a daunting prospect, but in our experience you would struggle to find a better partner to guide you through the process. And guide you they do. Every step of the way.
But as important as great service is there are a number of other factors to consider if looking to buy or sell property in this lovely part of Spain. Premier has arguably the prime site in the valley, opposite the main car park and tourist office in Jalon, has a large database of quality potential purchasers, has link ups with property portals and partner agencies in a number of Northern European countries including RightMove in the UK, and has in proprietor Chris Hara the ultimate professional sales negotiator. He has an uncanny knack of matching the right people to the right properties, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area and properties on his books and seems to work all hours to find you the right property or the right purchaser.
So when we came to sell it was not a difficult decision who to instruct as sales agent. We had enough confidence to hand a sole agency agreement to Premier, and they didn’t let us down. Within three weeks we had offers from two potential purchasers. One couple were charming cash buyers who bought the property. The whole conveyancing process was handled with the minimum of stress by the Premier team. Karen, with the unflustered efficiency we have got to appreciate over the years, and the marvellous multi lingual Martina who handled the conveyancing, cutting through Spain’s notorious bureaucracy with the minimum of fuss.
