At Premier Villas our reputation on pre and post sale service is second to none taking you through the whole purchase procedure and beyond with clear communication, advice and assistance. Our team will assist you through all your negotiations ensuring that legal guarantees for the purchase of the property are provided, Spanish legal requirements are met and that the property is free of charges or debt. 

At Premier Villas we always recommend you use an "Independent Spanish Lawer" also known as an "Abogado", when buying a property in Spain. An Independent Lawyer will be working to look after only your interests and not the interests of the Estate Agent.  You should therefore never use “in-house lawyers" or an "in-house legal team"  tied to an Estate Agent. Of course it is advisable that you use a Lawyer who is familiar with the area you are buying in and therefore aware of the various local land laws and restrictions.

You should ensure that your lawyer in Spain is properly registered with the local bar association (Colegio de Abogados) and experienced in Spanish Property Law. Your lawyer will be able to provide you with their registration number so that you can check this.  You should also check that your Lawyer has adequate Professional Indemnity Insurance to ensure that you are covered should there be any problems as a result of their advice.

Please note that a Gestor/Assessor is not a Lawyer.  A Gestor/Assessor is  someone who carries documents, presenting them to authorities, helps you apply for a Spanish driving licence, helps in paying Spanish taxes or helping out in other aspects of Spanish bureaucracy. They do provide invaluable help and assistance but they are not a Lawyer and therefore cannot give legal advice.  It is also worth noting that Gestors should be members of the Colegio Oficial de Gestores Administrativos, which regulates the profession.

About The Area - The Jalon and Orba Valleys

For year-round, authentic towns and villages with affordable property then look no further than the Jalon and Orba Valleys. With pretty natural scenery, less touristy communities and value for money this is a fantastic area to relocate to for families, retirees and semi-retirees of all nationalities looking for either a permanent home or holiday home away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist coastal resorts, but still within a short 15 to 20 minute drive to nearby beaches.

The Jalon Valley in particular, is home to sprawling and thriving vineyards that make wines sold throughout Europe, wines that you can sample at the local bodegas and buy at unbelievable cheap prices. Inland you are spoilt for choice with an array of restaurants serving both Spanish and International Cuisine, tapas bars, bars offering live music and entertainment and best of all the prices are considerably less than what is charged on the nearby busy coastal resorts for eating out and drinks.  You  have all the necessary amenities on hand for shopping with large Supermarkets selling international produce, local bakeries, butchers, newsagents, gift shops and local markets. For families wishing to relocate to this area in addition to the local Spanish schools there are private international schools.

Despite its semi rural setting, access to this area remains easy, thanks to the AP-7 motorway being within 5-10 minutes, and both Alicante and Valencia airports being within an hour’s drive.

Many people also relocate to this area from various parts of Europe for the "Golf" and you are spoilt for choice with the various golf courses.



With a wealth of local beaches and beautiful inland scenery, the Costa Blanca has the best all year round temperatures. The climate is recognised as one of the best in the world by the World Health Organisation.

Northern Costa Blanca also features some of the aspects people most associate with Spain; olive groves, almond groves, vineyards, fertile valleys, and picturesque Spanish villages.  A 15 minute car journey from the coast will take you through the Jalon Valley and the Orba Valley with the most stunning and breathtaking landscapes offering a taste of "Real Spain", an area dubbed Costa Blanca´s “Jewel in the Crown” by the British travel press. With on average 320 days of sunshine per year no wonder people from various parts of Europe are attracted to buying property here.
