Water Sports
The crystal clear waters from Valencia to Alicante are perfect for watersports and sailing - Valencia is hosting the America's Cup in 2007. Yacht clubs, sailing clubs and water sports facilities are dotted along the length of the Costa Blanca, but the Marina Alta area in particular is extremely well served in this respect, catering for a host of waterborne activities including sailing, windsurfing, surfing, canoeing, jet-skiing, felucca rowing and diving. Just to add to the many activities that are held in the Denia and Javea area water sporting activities such as boating and yachting are just a couple of excellent events held throughout the year to attract many people to the Mediteranean waters. Sea excursions are held up and down the Costa Blanca and is an excellent way for non sailors to explore and discover the hidden secrets of The White Coast. Windsurfing and boat rentals are just a few more typical activities to bring you to the sandy beaches of Denia, Javea and Moraira.
For all the more adventurous water sports lovers there are plenty more facilities to keep you occupied! Such as: scuba diving, cave diving - explore the underwater caves and caverns and wreck diving - see the deepest wrecks in the Costa Blanca from cargo liners, destroyers to WW1 warships.
Golf
On the Costa Blanca alone there is a total of 13 excellent golf courses and with its fabulous climate all year round including the winter months, it's the perfect place to play. If you don't have any of your own equipment most golf courses have clubs for hire and if your new to it or just want to improve your game then they can provide coaching. Take a right to La Xara and Jesus Pobre. Features: Holes: 18 Course designer:Juan de la Cuadra Oyanguran,1990 Measures: 6072 metres in length.
A quality course designed by Juan de la Cuadra Oyanguran and Jose Maria Olazabal, this 18 hole beauty will have a further 9 holes addied in the future. Its a demaning round but one that provides great value for money. The onsite facilities are excellent and the adjacent Marriott Hotel adds a spalsh of 5-star glamour.
Oliva Nova

The course is next to Oliva town at km 209 of the N332 Murcia-Valencia road. Features: Holes: 18 Course designer:Severiano Ballesteros,1995 Measures: 6270 metres in length.
This golf course has a lot to offer as it is an 18 hole course, 5 hole par 3 course with practice greens and driving range. Water enters into play on 15 out of 18 holes which gives a tranquil feel to the course. The Oliva Nova has had the opportunity of hosting the Peugeot Oki Spanish National Championships on four occasions, and so is attracting many other golfing events.
Benissa - Club de Golf Ifach

From Benissa head towards Teulada; from Teulada go towards Moraira and from there take the road towards towards Calpe. The course is in Urb. San Jaime, at the 3km point on the road between Moraira and Calpe. Features: Holes: 9 Course designer: Javier Arana,1974 Measures: 3408 metres in length.
This course has the best views in the Region of Valencia. The designer created this course to be short and tricky with many obstacles. It has a round of 9 holes (6 par-3s and 3-par 4s) although this is a short course the holes are difficult and technical. With beautiful views of the sparkling Meditteranean sea and the Peñon de Ifach rock it shows an enjoyable days golfing. The course also offers a club bar with snacks, the Micheta Restaurant, a large swimming pool and tennis courts.
Altea

This 9 hole course is located in the Sierra Bernia mountains close to the pretty coastal town of Altea, and has a very strenuous 72 par. Its open all year round and also gives private golf lessons in english, german and spanish. The golf course has a range of different levels from flat grounds to uphill. On some of the holes there are even sea views and mountain views. This course contains driving range, classes, club rentals, shop, repairs, WC on course, water and drinks on course, swimming pool, tennis, changing rooms and showers.
Javea

Follow road to Xabia/Javea and at large roundabout just before town take first exit signposted Benitachell. Golf club is located on the left. Features: Holes: 9 Course designer: Francisco Moreno, 1981 Measures: 3035 metres in length.
A 9-hole course par 72 (for 18 holes) with wide, open fairways and greens that are well protected by bunkers. Easy to play on as it has quite flat grounds and no so tiring in the hot summer sun. Javea has an ideal climate with temperatures ranging from 14 degrees in the winter to 25 degrees in the summer. Not only does this course have superb grounds but has facilities to offer such as: a large, well developed club-house with bar, a restaurant, a Pro-Shop, television and card rooms, changing rooms and a caddy area.

Theme Parks
As the staff of Terra Mitica say, this is a place for people who know how to have fun. It's worth a day trip to spend time at this theme park where the theme is the ancient civilizations - whether the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece or Iberia. There are showpiece rides including the Magnus Colossus a wooden rollercoaster with a track over 1km in length, liveshows, street performers, restaurants, plus plenty of rides and attractions designed specifically for the younger members of the family. From July 16th to September 4th, the park is open from 10 am to midnight and for the remainder of the year from 10 am to 8pm. Costs for an adult are 33 Euros for a day and 47 Euros for two days and for Children aged 5 to 10 years old, 25 Euros for one day and 34 Euros for two days.

Next door to Mundomar, this water park features a host of amazing slides, flumes and water rides including the Big Bang, the Rapids, the Amazonas, the Zig Zag, Kamikaze and the Black Hole. If you feel like taking it easy, take time out at Niagra falls relax by the lagoon. You can even bathe swim with park's resident sea lions.
Benidorm's newest visitor attraction provides an 'adventure in the flora, fauna and traditions' of some of Earth's ancient civilisations. Covering three of the five continents - America, Asia and Europe, plus the ancient landmass of Pangea - Terra Natura is difficult to describe but well worth a visit. A real natural beauty spot, located close to the town of Callosa D'en Sarria, these beautiful waterfalls are located in a steep-sided gorge surrounded by lush vegetation. Guadalest , the 'Eagle's Nest', is located about 25 km inland from Benidorm along the CV-70 road. The village enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the whole of Spain, perched high up on a rocky pinnacle seemingly carved out of a mountain top and surrounded by truly stunning scenery. Despite a population of 200, Guadalest is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain. The main part of the old village is reached through a tunnel and is home to several craft and souvenir shops, cafés and museums. A tour of the castle and it's ruined ramparts provides breathtaking views of the surrounding valley all the way down to the Bay of Altea
