A stunning and spacious hillside villa located in a semi-rural, non-estate position adjoining lemon and orange groves and with fabulous views across the valley to Parcent village and church, a 10 minute walk away. An easy drive takes you to the stylish coastal towns and beaches of Denia, Moraira, Javea and Calpe. The luxurious property offers substantial accommodation as well as high quality fittings and fitments, and is extremely well presented throughout with many nice touches. The main accommodation includes three double bedrooms (one with ensuite), and one twin bedroom. There are a further two family bathrooms. The main reception room benefits from a wood-burning fireplace and air-conditioning, and has doors leading straight out to the enclosed naya and the villas private pool area with plenty of terracing and sun loungers. French doors open from the dining room to the attractive gardens with pergola and dining area.

The villa benefits from a woodburning fire and room heaters making it ideal for colder weather and cosy nights in, as well as for those balmy hot summer days when the temperature is kept cool by air conditioning in the living room and ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Outside

The large pool is the focal point of the gardens and is surrounded by terracing with fabulous views across the valley to the village and mountains. To the other side of the villa are terraced gardens and a pergola dining area with more fine views looking down the valley. There is also an outside summer room and pool terrace dining table, ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining.

Coast / Beach

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 15 - 45 minutes drive. Calpe 15 mins. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.

Golf

There are a number of golf course within a 20 - 40 minute drive from the Jalon Valley. These include 2 Championship courses in Benidorm (30mins) designed by Jack Nicklaus, Oliva Nova Golf(40mins) designed by Seve Ballesteros, La Sella (20mins) designed by José María Olazábal, together with 9 hole course at Benissa (20mins) and Altea (25 mins). Both Alicante and Valencia, with their numerous courses, are only one hour´s drive away.

Nearest airports are Alicante (70km) and Valencia (80km). Car hire or use of a car is essential.

This wonderful villa is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley that is quietly situated 20 minutes inland from Spain's Costa Blanca and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnificent backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature. Just a few kilometres from the villa scattered throughout the valley are unspoilt villages including Alcalali, Lliber and Orba with a choice of hundreds of bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and International cuisine. The main town of Jalon is famous for its wine and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year, you can sample the Muscatel for which the area is famed as well as other wines at the local bodegas or better still accompanied with tapas at one of the local bars. The area offers a wealth of attractions including a large supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, honey stores, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops. The popular coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe are just a 20 minute drive away whilst the bustling resort of Benidorm is some 45 minutes away.

Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de rates), only a 10 minute drive from the villa. Drive up the Coll de Rates, ascent to mountain top and find spectacular panaromic views over the Vall de Pop and neighbouring valleys, stop off for lunch on route at the Pedramala restaurant to sample excellent cuisine and gaze at the incredible views where on a clear day you can see the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. There is also the donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys and of course the famous mountain spring and walks on the Serra Bernia, only 10 minutes drive away. Within 50 minutes drive are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 35 mins drive away. The area around the villa is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, bird watching and sight seeing. In addition to the paragliding there is quad Biking, go karting and an outdoor pursuit centre.

Booking Notes

Prices shown are for rental of the property per week in euros, on booking, a deposit is required equivalent to 30 per cent of the total cost. The outstanding amount is due usually eight weeks before the start of your holiday.
A security fee of 300 pounds sterling is also payable on booking of your holiday, which will be refunded to you at the end of the holiday rental period. This is to cover any damage to the property or its contents/fixtures and fittings. We will always discuss any deductions with you before returning the security deposit.
