A stunning and spacious family home located just a short drive from the traditional village of Murla and a few kilometres from Alcalali, Orba and Jalon with their vast array of amenities. The property is very private and offers substantial accommodation as well as high quality fittings and fitments, and is extremely well presented throughout. The main accommodation includes two double and two twin bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, two reception rooms, a separate dining room, a guest cloakroom and a large fully equipped kitchen. The main reception room benefits from a feature fireplace, and has patio doors leading straight out onto the extensive terracing and pool area. This area is also accessed directly from the master bedroom, the second reception and the dining room. Outside, the large attractive gardens are laid with mediterranean plants; there is a 5 x 10 metre swimming pool with roman steps and an outside kitchen with BBQ area. The naya provides shade perfect for al fresco dining and has beautiful views across the valley. There is also an additional entertaining area to the side with a spanish tiled table and benches.

With 300 m2 of secluded terracing around the 10 x 5 m. pool and private beautifully maintained gardens. The outside terracing and pool area is also lit at night.

Outside

The 10 X 5 metre pool with Roman steps is the focal point of the beautifully landscaped gardens, and is surrounded by extensive terracing. There is also a summer kitchen ideal for barbecues, large naya area with table and chairs as well as traditional spanish style tiled table and seating.

Coast / Beach

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 15 - 45 minutes drive. Calpe 15 mins. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.

Golf

There are a number of golf course within a 20 - 40 minute drive from the Jalon Valley. These include 2 Championship courses in Benidorm (30mins) designed by Jack Nicklaus, Oliva Nova Golf(40mins) designed by Seve Ballesteros, La Sella (20mins) designed by José María Olazábal, together with 9 hole course at Benissa (20mins) and Altea (25 mins). Both Alicante and Valencia, with their numerous courses, are only one hour´s drive away.

Distances

This wonderful villa is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley that is quietly situated 20 minutes inland from Spain's Costa Blanca and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnificent backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature. Just a few kilometres from the villa scattered throughout the valley are unspoilt villages including Alcalali, Lliber, Orba and Parcent with a choice of hundreds of bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and International cuisine. The main town of Jalon is famous for its wine and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year, you can sample the Muscatel for which the area is famed as well as other wines at the local bodegas or better still accompanied with tapas at one of the local bars. The area offers a wealth of attractions including a large supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, honey stores, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops. The popular coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe are just a 20 minute drive away whilst the bustling resort of Benidorm is some 45 minutes away.

Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de rates), only a 15 minute drive from the villa. There is also the Donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys and of course the famous mountain spring and walks on the Serra Bernia, only 15 minutes drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away. The area around the villa is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, bird watching and sight seeing. In addition to the Paragliding, there is Quad Biking, Go Karting and an Outdoor Pursuits Centre.

Booking Notes

Prices shown are for rental of the property per week in euros. On booking, a 30% deposit is required with the balance due eight weeks before the start of your holiday.
A security fee of 500 euros is also payable when you pay your final balance. It will be refunded to you at the end of the holiday rental period by bank transfer. This security fee is to cover any damage to the property or its contents/fixtures and fittings. We will always discuss any deductions with you before returning the security deposit.
