In the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley, this delightful and spacious 3 bedroom villa benefits from stunning views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The villa is of a substantial size and can accommodate up to 8 people. Located close to the town of Jalon, renowned for it's award winning wines, great selection of restaurants and bars and other amenites and only 20 minutes drive from the coastal resorts of Calpe, Denia, Javea, Moraira and Altea which boast some of the best beaches in Spain and offer a multitude of restaurants, bars, shops and busy nightlife. This villa offers substantial accommodation as well as high quality furnishings and fittings. There is an entrance hall leading to good-sized lounge/dining room which features a wooden beamed ceiling and living flame gas fire place. The fully fitted kitchen is of a high standard and there is also a separate utility room. There are three bedrooms; one master bedroom with ensuite shower, a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a well equipped family bathroom.
From the lounge, there is a lovely glazed naya which leads to an open naya/terrace and outside dining area with BBQ
Downstairs, there is substantial terracing for sunbathing around the pool. The beautifully landscaped gardens surround the property with Mediterranean shrubs and trees and there is a large swimming pool with outdoor shower.

Outside

The large pool which is accessed by roman steps is the focal point of the rear terrace and garden area with sun loungers to accommodate 8 people and fantastic views over the valley.
There is also an outside shower adjacent to the pool and shaded areas for relaxing and reading.

Externally there is an elevated terrace area accessed from the front of the villa and internally from the kitchen area and the enclosed Naya. This L-shaped terrace area includes a feature built-in BBQ area with wooden table, seating for 8 people and parasol. To the front of the terrace area there is also a small table and chairs. The terrace can be lit at night making it ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining and has fabulous views accross the valley.

Coast / Beach

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 15 - 45 minutes drive. Calpe 15 mins. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.

Golf

There are a number of golf course within a 20 - 40 minute drive from the Jalon Valley. These include 2 Championship courses in Benidorm (30mins) designed by Jack Nicklaus, Oliva Nova Golf(40mins) designed by Seve Ballesteros, La Sella (20mins) designed by José María Olazábal, together with 9 hole course at Benissa (20mins) and Altea (25 mins). Both Alicante and Valencia, with their numerous courses, are only one hour´s drive away.

Nearest airports are Alicante (70km) and Valencia (80km). Car hire or use of a car is essential.

Distances

This wonderful villa is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley that is quietly situated 20 minutes inland from Spain's Costa Blanca and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnificent backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature. Just a few kilometres from the villa scattered throughout the valley are unspoilt villages including Alcalali, Lliber, Orba and Parcent with a choice of hundreds of bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and International cuisine. The main town of Jalon is famous for its wine and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year, you can sample the Muscatel for which the area is famed as well as other wines at the local bodegas or better still accompanied with tapas at one of the local bars. The area offers a wealth of attractions including a large supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, honey stores, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops. The popular coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe are just a 20 minute drive away whilst the bustling resort of Benidorm is some 45 minutes away.

Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de Rates), only a 10 minute drive from the villa. There is also the Donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys. There is also the famous mountain spring and walks on the Serra Bernia, only a 10 minute drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away.

Booking Notes

Prices shown are for rental of the property per week in euros. On booking, a 30% deposit is required with the balance due eight weeks before the start of your holiday.
A security fee of 300 euros is also payable when you pay your final balance. It will be refunded to you at the end of the holiday rental period by bank transfer. This security fee is to cover any damage to the property or its contents/fixtures and fittings. We will always discuss any deductions with you before returning the security deposit.
