This villa offers substantial accommodation as well as high quality furnishings and fittings. The main part of the villa boasts a luxurious fully fitted kitchen and separate utility room, a lounge with feature fireplace, air conditioning and ample room to seat 6 people, the separate dining room offers the ideal location for family dining and also leads outside to the alfresco dining area with BBQ and substantial terracing for sunbathing around the pool. There are three bedrooms in this aspect of the house, including one master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ensuite shower room, a further double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a well equipped family bathroom with bath.

The separate air conditioned guest apartment sleeps up to 4, has its own entrance and consists of an American style kitchen, lounge with a sofa bed, a double bedroom and a shower room, this aspect of the property also has a glazed naya / dining area. Suitable for disabled.

Beautiful Mediterranean style gardens surround the enclosed plot with ample secure parking.

The large 8 x 4 pool which is accessed by roman steps is the focal point of the rear terrace and garden area with sun loungers to accommodate 6 people and plenty of chairs as well as a BBQ area and a variety of dining areas.

There are also shaded areas for relaxing and reading.

The terrace and pool can be lit at night making it ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 15 - 45 minutes drive. Calpe 15 mins. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.

Golf

There are a number of golf course within a 20 - 40 minute drive from the Jalon Valley. These include 2 Championship courses in Benidorm (30mins) designed by Jack Nicklaus, Oliva Nova Golf(40mins) designed by Seve Ballesteros, La Sella (20mins) designed by José María Olazábal, together with 9 hole course at Benissa (20mins) and Altea (25 mins). Both Alicante and Valencia, with their numerous courses, are only one hour´s drive away.

Nearest airports are Alicante (70km) and Valencia (80km). Car hire or use of a car is essential.

Distances

This wonderful villa is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley that is quietly situated 20 minutes inland from Spain's Costa Blanca and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnificent backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature. Just a few kilometres from the villa scattered throughout the valley are unspoilt villages including Alcalali, Lliber, Orba and Parcent with a choice of hundreds of bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and International cuisine. The main town of Jalon is famous for its wine and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year, you can sample the Muscatel for which the area is famed as well as other wines at the local bodegas or better still accompanied with tapas at one of the local bars. The area offers a wealth of attractions including a large supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, honey stores, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops. The coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe are just a 20 minute drive away whilst the bustling resort of Benidorm is some 45 minutes away.

Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de Rates), only a 10 minute drive from the villa. There is also the Donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys. There is also the famous mountain spring and walks on the Sierra Bernia, only a 10 minute drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away.

Booking Notes

Prices shown are for rental of the property per week in euros. On booking, a 30% deposit is required with the balance due eight weeks before the start of your holiday.
A security fee of 300 euros is also payable when you pay your final balance. It will be refunded to you at the end of the holiday rental period by bank transfer. This security fee is to cover any damage to the property or its contents/fixtures and fittings or execessive cleaning after your departure. We will always discuss any deductions with you before returning the security deposit.

Location ideal as neither of us drive so short walk into the town and even the restaurant Riu Rau on your doorstop. What more could you want. We just love this area and can not recommend it enough.

Our first impression was that the villa was well kept, clean and comfortable, with a very good pool and patio area. Bathrooms were great but kitchen a bit small, though I understand this to be quite common in Spain, and it could be said that the barbecue would relieve this situation if the villa was occupied to capacity A.P. Sept 2011
